Inventory Control Associate
8am-4:30pm | 9am-5:30pm (regular schedule)
$16.00 hourly

Summary
Inspect and help to maintain orderly and accurate inventory within Distribution Center.  Perform administrative functions including record keeping, reporting and responding to email.  Reconcile discrepancies in inventories and notify I/C manager of irregularities.  May at times be designated to specific Inventory Control functions.
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all product is properly located and stocked
  • Restock misplaced and returned product in proper locations
  • Process product that is damaged, obsolete or designated for warehouse sale
  • Perform physical count of inventory and reconcile actual stock count to system inventory
  • Work with cross functional teams to resolve inventory transaction problems and improve procedures
  • Implement and maintain best practice inventory control procedures throughout supply chain operation
  • Perform routine clerical duties including data entry and answering email
  • Prepare daily reports including the following: inventory balance, stock counts, shortages, damaged items, can’t finds, receipts, MOS, bin moves, and replenishments
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
 
Minimum Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of experience related to Inventory Control
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
 
Positional Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Knowledge of inventory control
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to system data
  • Database management skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
  • Clerical, word processing, and office skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and Detail Oriented
  • Strong communication skills
 
Working Conditions
  • Considerable physical activity at times
  • May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs
